Delete my data

You can delete the data Glowtone holds about you in the app or by email. This page is also the account and data deletion page for Google Play.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Glowtone, tap your avatar at the top right to open Profile, then open Settings.
2. Scroll to the Privacy card and tap Reset app and erase my data.
3. Confirm with Yes, erase.

This erases your closet, your Glow Up progress and your price alerts from our server, and it clears your profile, color result, saved looks, photos and settings from your phone. To remove only your closet, tap Delete my closet instead. You can also withdraw your face analysis and try-on consent in the same Privacy card.

If you created an optional account to save your colors, the steps above do not remove the sign-in itself. Email us (below) and we delete it.

By email

Write to support@glowtone.app with the subject "Delete my data". Send it from the email address of your account if you have one. Without an account your data is linked only to a random code on your phone, so we cannot find it from an email address: please use the in-app reset above. We confirm each request and delete within 45 days, usually much sooner. You do not need to give a reason.

What gets deleted

• Your account (email, sign-in), if you created one.
• Your color values and season result, style profile, saved looks and style diary.
• Closet pieces, Glow Up progress, price alerts, Color Twins and invite links.

What is deleted automatically anyway

• Your selfie is deleted right after the analysis.
• Draping previews, try-on results and reveal videos are deleted after up to 1 hour.
• Your full-body photo for try-on stays on your phone. It is removed when you reset the app or delete Glowtone.

What we may have to keep

Purchase records, which tax and accounting law requires us to keep (in Germany generally up to 10 years). They are kept only for that purpose. Apple and Google also keep their own records of your purchases. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. See Support for how to cancel.
